Get Vertical and Go Big!
We just received a memo from the desk of Ben “Grand Master” Flerchinger of the Lucky Lab that clued us in to the the bounty of monstrous brews that will be presented at this year’s Barleywine and Big Beer Festival. Flerchinger expects another eight to twelve brews to be be added to the below list. The event is going down March 6 and 7, 2009 at Lucky Lab’s NW Quimby location (1945 NW Quimby St. in Portland, OR). Gates open at noon both days close at ten o’clock. The tickets are $1.75 for a four ounce taste, no charge for admission.
The organizer asks that you please take Tri-Met, a taxi, or find a designated driver. You may want to consider bringing a designated liver as well. These beers are no joke (ABV listed after each brew).

So is the Barley Wine Fest definitely Fri and Sat? Or is it Sat and Sun? I’ve seen both listed on different sites.
According to the Lucky Lab its Friday and Saturday. Boo yah!
