Lucky Dogs Get 22s
Our recent stop at Lucky Lab‘s NW Quimby location made us smile. We discovered Triple Threat IPA and Stumptown Porter in 22 ounce bottles. To make matters better, we were intrigued to find that they fill 22’s with pretty much any beer on tap that you desire. This meant that we certainly needed a Super Dog, Ludwig’s Alt, and a Scottish Holiday Ale to go. Agreed, this is a great thing. Last weekend I stopped into both the Hawthorne & Quimby locations, and came back to Seattle with bottles of Super Dog & Triple Threat…fantastic! My buddies loved them. Next time I’ll bring back even more.
Triple Threat is the greatest IPA that I have ever tasted! It’s grapefruit followed by a bitter that turns your mouth inside-out. It is best had on a warm day immediately after work. The faster you can get it in your mouth after work is directly proportional to your enjoyment of the first sip.
