Cascade Brewing Collaborates with Team Rubicon on Continued Service IPA for Veterans Day

Cascade Brewing welcomes in Veterans Day with an excellent fundraising beer as it partners with Team Rubicon on Continued Service IPA. When we honor veterans who have served our country on Monday, November 11th, Cascade Brewing will release Continued Service IPA in both 16oz cans and on draft at both its pubs and at a few beer bars throughout the Portland metro area.

Continued Service IPA is an American IPA that features Yakima Chief Hops 2018 Veterans Blend that includes Cashmere, Centennial, Ekuanot, Mosaic and Simcoe hops. This IPA is full of bright tropical fruit aromas, including pineapple, mango, lychee and guava, complement tropical hop flavors along with a balanced bitterness and dry finish.

Best of all, Cascade Brewing will donate 100% of the proceeds from sales of Continued Service IPA to Team Rubicon. This organization is a veteran-led disaster response non-profit that unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams to provide immediate relief to those impacted by disasters and humanitarian crises.

In addition to Cascade’s donation to Team Rubicon, Yakima Chief Hops donates $3 from every pound sold of the 2018 Veterans Blend, used in this project, to the Semper Fi Fund, a non-profit that provides immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to post 9/11 combat wounded, critically ill and catastrophically injured service members.

Continued Service IPA will be served at both of Cascade Brewing’s Portland pubs. The charitable IPA will also be on tap at Belmont Station, Cascadia Tap House, Fireside Grill, Growlerie, Imperial Bottle Shop & Taproom (SE Division and NE Alberta), John’s Marketplace, N.W.I.P.A., Room 122, 649 Tap House, and Wine and Growl.
