Laurelwood Brewing Releases Vespertine Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout
A new barrel-aged beer has just hit the taps at Laurelwood Brewing. Part of its Brewer’s Reserve line, Vespertine Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout was aged in a single pristine rye whiskey barrel for one year and offers up notes of chocolate, dark fruit, and whiskey.
Vespertine Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout that uses 2-Row, Midnight Wheat, C-140, and Flaked Oat malts alongside Northern Brewer, Chinook, and Exp. 06297 hops. The beer sits at 11% ABV and 69 IBUs.
