Backwoods Brewing Debuts Rip City Remix IPA
|Portland has a new professional basketball team that’ll make its debut this month. The Portland Trail Blazers have added a team to the G-League and the Rip City Remix will make its Portland debut on November 17th at Chiles Center on the campus of the University of Portland.
In time for tip off will be the team’s very own beer, Rip City Remix IPA from Backwoods Brewing. Brewed in collaboration with the Rip City Remix, this new IPA is all about celebrating with your friends and cheering on your new favorite team!
Rip City Remix IPA is a straightforward IPA that is brewed with experimental hops that creates a 3 pointer of flavors, including cherry, melon and citrus! At 6.5% ABV and 24 IBUs, Rip City Remix IPA is now available in 4-pack, 16oz can for $15.00 at both Backwoods Brewing locations.
The Rip City Remix celebrates its inaugural season as it joins the NBA’s G League. The team will be collaborating with local creators, crafters, DIY’ers and makers of the Portland community while providing a space for talent to shine. Making a difference on and off the court is at the heart of the Remix organization, which pays homage to the vintage era of the Trail Blazers franchise with its 1970s flare and color scheme.
All Rip City Remix home games will be broadcast for free via Fox 12+, that’s the over the air Channel 49.1. For more information on the Rip City Remix, visit ripcityremix.com and follow the team on social media at @ripcityremix.
The description with experimental hops etc say 6.5% ABV. Yet the numbers on the can are different? Which is it?
