Alesong Brewing & Blending to Host New Year’s Eve Celebration
Welcoming in the New Year will arrive a bit early on Sunday when Alesong Brewing & Blending will host a New Year’s Eve Celebration at its brewery outside of Eugene, Oregon.
On Sunday, December 31st, Alesong Brewing and Blending will be celebrating the last day of 2023 and ringing in the New Year with a festive afternoon at its wine country brewery. Taking place from Noon – 7:00pm, the NYE Celebration will feature freshly shucked, raw oysters being served in Alesong’s barrel cellar and will feature live music, hot food from Alesong’s kitchen, and stunning country views alongside Alesong beer, wine, and cider.
For anyone looking for a way to celebrate the new year without a late-night party (or as a pregame for their late-night party), this festive and unique afternoon event is the perfect option. Oysters are an amazing pairing with farmhouse ales and go perfectly with Alesong’s new sparkling Pinot Gris, which will also make for some great new year’s toasts.
Local favorite, Inner Limits band, will be on hand providing live music mid-afternoon for what’s sure to be a fun and festive atmosphere. No reservations necessary or accepted to attend. Oysters will be first come, first served until they run out, but good times will be had all day.
“As I’ve gotten older, the thought of a late-night, ticketed, New Year’s Eve party has become less attractive, but the desire to celebrate is still there and I don’t think I’m the only one who feels that way,” says Alesong co-founder Doug Coombs. “This event has been a wonderful way for us to gather with our community and ring in the New Year in a distinctly Alesong style. We can’t wait to see everyone out here and look forward to continuing to build this annual tradition!”
