Assembly Brewing To Open its 2nd Portland Location In Early 2024
|After operating in Portland’s Foster-Powell neighborhood since 2019, Assembly Brewing, best known for its Detroit inspired pizza, will open a new outpost at 2934 NE Alberta Street. It’ll be taking over the space that was once home to Bella Pizza that shuttered in August 2023 and will mark the brewery’s second location in Portland.
Founded by George Johnson, Assembly Brewing will be serving up its pizza to all ages at this new location. Its original location that is also home to its brewery is located at 6112 SE Foster Road has always been only open to those 21 years of age or older.
The goal is to open in January or February 2024, as it’ll serve five pizza by-the-slice options (including one vegan), whole pies, breadsticks and salads. Assembly Brewing also plans to offer a slice and a beer or fountain drink special. Its house brewed beers will flow from eight taps. Local cider, wines, and a selection of handmade cocktails and spirits will also be available.
Patrons will soon be able to dine inside or as weather permits, enjoy the sidewalk tables or the cozy back patio. Food delivery will also be available, though the press release did not state if the brewery will operate their own delivery team.
“Whether it’s through beer, pizza, a love of sports or perhaps trivia, we’re excited to try a few new things in 2024 and bring together people of all ages,” said George Johnson, owner, brewmaster and chef, in today’s press release.
Assembly Brewing – NE Alberta plans to be open seven days a week from 11:00am – 10:00pm. To learn more, visit assemblybrewingco.com.
