3rd Annual Burger Brawl
A great way to close out Oregon Craft Beer Month is to attend the 3rd Annual Burger Brawl. Beginning at 5pm on Wednesday, July 31st at The Hop & Vine, this event combines 5 Brewers with 5 Burgers to determine this year’s champion pairing.
“As friends and foes, we will celebrate the savory bits of grilled goodness betwixt petite, halved buns. We will celebrate the paired, fermented libations carefully selected by their creators. When the dust settles, we will crown a new champion! Meet the brewers, taste the pairings. It’s a ton of fun and a great way to wrap up Oregon Craft Beer Month.”
Defending champion Matt Van Wyk of Oakshire Brewing Co. will be challenged by 4 fresh competitors which includes Falling Sky Brewery of Eugene, Fort George Brewery of Astoria, Hopworks Urban Brewery of Portland and cider maker Reverend Nat’s Hard Cider of Portland.
There are no advance ticket sales, just arrive hungry. All burgers will be served in slider form so you can try many of the 5 choices.
All proceeds will got to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry, a campaign to end childhood hunger here in America.
