Full Sail Brewing Introduces New Session Series with Export Premium Golden Lager

With the success of their Session Series, Full Sail Brewing is now set to offer up a full, year round rotating seasonal line of Session. First out of the gates will be their brand new Session Export Premium Golden Lager. This new seasonal will be available in 12-packs and on draft from winter through spring.

With the increasing popularity and growing sales it makes total sense that Full Sail expands their Session Series of beers. Full Sail recently introduced Session IPA to their year round line up of Session. So now there will be three year round beers in the Session Series along with a rotating seasonal.

Having been able to sample a few drafts of Full Sail’s new Session Export Premium Golden Lager during last harvest’s Sodbuster Farms Hop Farm Tour, we can say that we truly look forward to this beer being available for the next few months. This Dortmunder Export lager was very satisfying. Definitely our favorite Session yet, the hop presence was much more notable than that of their long standing Session Premium Lager. Being at 5.8% ABV, this lager may be a bit more than a true session beer but its surely one that will be in my fridge over the coming months.

Since the launch in 2005 Full Sail’s Session beers have earned a slew of shiny awards and trophies including 35 gold medals. Recently, Full Sail’s Session lagers swept the 2014 World Beer Championships with each beer earning top honors including a gold medal for both Session Premium Lager and the newly released Session Export.  Session Fest, Session Black and Session IPA were honored with silver medals.

Full Sail Session Export Premium Golden Lager will be joined in the seasonal rotation with Session Cream Premium Summer Ale and the already popular Session Fest Premium Red Lager which, has been out in the market for the past few winters.

Session Export Premium Golden Lager
This 2014 World Beer Championships gold medal winner is brewed in the Dortmunder Export lager style, Export pours a deep golden color and imported hop varieties impart noble hop aromas with subtle herbal and hop spice notes. Hop bitterness and malt sweetness are balanced with a firm, smooth, mineral/malt character and clean finish. So rich, so elegant, so well-traveled – Imported all the way from Hood River, Oregon.
ABV 5.8% IBU 28
Available Winter to Spring in 12-packs and on draft.

Session Cream Premium Summer Ale
This golden ale has a creamy head and a smooth, sweet disposition. Just the ticket on a hot summer’s day. I scream, you scream, we all scream for Session Cream!
ABV 5.4% IBU 26
Available all Summer long in 12-packs and on draft.

Session Fest Premium Red Lager
Our holiday edition, Session Fest, has a full red body and smooth white head. Remind you of anything? Yep, it’s the Santa Claus of beers. All ready to spread joy and cheer during the holiday season. Session Fest is a Czech-style strong red lager (gotta love the Czechs!) called polotmavé. Balanced candy caramel and full malt flavors with a spicy hoppiness. Perfume of citrus and pine, finishes long and clean.
ABV 6.2% IBU 26
