Saraveza 7th Annual Meat Raffle
Since we’re now in the midst of winter it’s the time of year for Saraveza and their 7thAnnual Meat Raffle. This is when our favorite ‘Sconnie bar in Portland gets back to their roots to bring their home state’s tradition to us here in the Pacific Northwesterners.
Join Saraveza for their 7th Annual Meat Raffle on Friday, February 6 from 6:30 to 9:30pm that all goes to charity. This evening is homage to the legendary Wisconsin winter tradition of hunters and farmers donating meats to raise funds for those in need. Saraveza invites select meat purveyors to take on the role of Wisconsin’s hunters and farmers, and this year they have chosen local non-profit Street Roots as their beneficiary.
On Friday, February 6th, Saraveza will be raffling mouth-watering cuts from Wisconsin’s Nueske’s, Portland’s Chop, and Nicky USA, as well as Saraveza’s own handmade smoked sausages and bacon. They will also be featuring beers from Ninkasi Brewing throughout the raffle. Tickets are only $2 to enter for a chance to win yummy meats and awesome beer schwag!
100% of proceeds will benefit Street Roots, an organization that since 1998 has worked to create income opportunities for people experiencing homelessness and poverty by producing a newspaper and other media that are catalysts for individual and social change. Join Saraveza and Street Roots and win big for a great cause!
Want to win meat, but can’t make the raffle? For the first time ever, Saraveza are holding a separate early entry fundraiser to win a Nueske’s Smoke Meat Lovers gift box mailed directly to your house. Tickets can be bought online HERE or in-house. Get your tickets early as online sales end at 6:00 PM (PST) on Friday, February 6th. The single prize for these early entries is a special meat package.
Good luck and lets win some meat for a good cause!
