Buoy Beer from Oregon’s North Coast has a few new releases in store to kick off the month August. The latest offering to make its way in 12 ounce cans is its Cream Ale and its Northwest Red has been packaged in 500 mL bottles. Also making its way on draft is its Benedict Cumberbatch Gose.
Tonight during the Pearl District’s First Thursday Buoy Beer will be at River Pig Saloon for a Cream Ale Can Launch Party. Festivities will take place from 5:00-10:00pm. River Pig Saloon is located at 529 NW 13th Avenue.
Also making its way to package is Buoy’s Northwest Red as it is now available in 500 mL bottles. Northwest Red offers big, malty, and hoppy flavors that are sure to please any hophead.
Then making its way back on draft is Benedict Cumberbatch Gose. This is Buoy’s German influenced beer that has 100 pounds of chopped and juiced cucumbers added to it. The result is a refreshing beer that screams summer with a massive aroma of fresh Cucumbers backed up by hints of lemon zest and a slighty salty character from the addition of Jacobsen’s Sea Salt.
