Limited Edition 2014 Noggin Floggin Released at Hopworks Urban Brewery

Yesterday, Hopworks Urban Brewery releases 2014 Noggin Floggin Barleywine. The beer was produced in a very-limited run of bottles. Hopworks has a small number of bomber bottles available for $9 per bottle at their Powell location. Bottles will also be available in limited distribution at Whole Foods Market in Oregon and Washington beginning December 26th.

This year’s Barleywine has a fruity and caramel aroma with resinous hops and complex sherry and malted toffee flavor, followed by a warming finish. The beer makes a fantastic holiday gift for fans of big beers and beer collectors with home cellaring. 100 IBU, 9.5% ABV.
