9th Annual Sasquatch BrewAm at McMenamins Edgefield
One of the more entertaining and enjoyable events of the summer is coming up later this week at McMenamins Edgefield. Now in its 9th year, the annual Sasquatch BrewAm is a fun golf outing that benefits the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation brewing scholarship program.
Taking place on Friday morning, July 26th during the 2013 Oregon Brewers Festival, this “golf outing” allows you to get paired up with one of your favorite brewers and then go out and play this par 3 course. Don’t have clubs, not a problem. All you need is a pitching wedge and putter. And if you can’t scrounge up these two clubs, you can rent them at the clubhouse.
Beyond the two clubs and golf balls, all you need to arrive with is some room for beer. About every third hole there are generous volunteers pouring liquid delights from your favorite breweries.
And once the golfing is completed, you get treated to an award luncheon full of food, prizes and more delicious beer.
