Gene Simmons Band to Open Rock & Brews at ilani Casino Resort
Nearly one year ago, ilani Casino Resort announced its new partnership with Rock & Brews Restaurant and Concert Bar that would bring this rock & roll inspired restaurant to Ridgefield, Washington. Today, the first Rock & Brews in the Pacific Northwest will open its doors with a bang from a performance by the Gene Simmons Band.
Rock & Brews was founded by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of the band KISS along with Michael Zislis, Dave Furano, and Dell Furano. Its first location debuted in 2010 in El Segundo, California, near LAX. It is now joined by a growing franchise of over 20 locations in California, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin.
Today at Noon, the ribbon cutting will take place for the first-ever Rock & Brews Restaurant and Concert Bar with Gene Simmons himself in attendance. Then at 7:30pm, the doors will open to see the Gene Simmons Band as they take the stage at Rock & Brews at 8:00pm. This will be the band’s first gig before heading to Brazil to perform at the Summer Breeze Open Air Brasil on April 26, 2024.
Rock & Brews is a family-friendly restaurant with music as its central feature that’s accompanied by quality handcrafted American food and a selection of local and craft beers. The founders of Rock & Brews have fused their appreciation for rock ‘n’ roll, affinity for craft beer, and desire for classic comfort food into one concept that complements existing amenities and will offer ease of access to the community as well with a family-friendly restaurant by day and additional entertainment offerings for entertainment seekers by night.
“Opening a new Rock & Brews location at ilani is a special announcement for the Cowlitz Indian Tribe,” said Cowlitz General Council Chairwoman Patty Kinswa-Gaiser, in a statement. “The Rock & Brews vision started for two reasons: our Tribe’s commitment to providing the best-in-class entertainment, dining, and hospitality to our guests, and our former Chairman Dave Barnett’s love for live music. As the Tribe continues to take ilani to exciting new heights, we’re proud to bring this vision to reality.”
The new Rock & Brews at ilani takes over the space that was once home to the Muze Lounge. It’ll bring a restaurant format with a live music stage situated across 10,000 sq. ft. of space. There will be two full-service bars with 24 beers on tap along with countertop gaming.

Looking forward to checking out the new Rock and Brews and have a ton of respect for this Kiss Duo. As I’ve worked in the bar industry and understand places of business change hands to new bars and still use old equipment and it’s completely normal and cost effective. But I wouldn’t have taken this picture in front of the old beer trough, because the guys “Rock and Roll”, but the beer trough is showing its dingy age. With gross spotting and discoloration. I know I seem petty pointing this out, but these guys are Rockstar legends and multi multi millionaires. Just seems like a better location in their new spot for this pic for representing this article would have been taken.
