Gresham's 4th Street Brewing is Closing Its Doors

4th Street Brewing Nightime

Gresham’s 4th Street Brewing has confirmed that they will be closing their doors on Wednesday, April 30th. The only brewpub in Gresham will turn into a new restaurant called Senoritas when the new owners take control of the property on May 1st.

4th Street Brewing’s owner/brewer Adam Roberts was known for crafting some decent ales and lagers over the years. We are fans of his Gresham Light when traveling to and from Mt. Hood. The brewpub offered a great spot to watch your favorite sporting event while throwing back some decent beers and food.

The people of Gresham will still have a great beer spot to drink at with The Hoppy Brewer. This homebrew supply store that is also an excellent craft beer bar is a welcome addition to downtown Gresham but 4th Street will surely be missed.

Here is more direct from 4th Street Brewing’s statement:

As many of you may have already heard, the rumors of 4th Street Brewing closing are true. Next Wednesday, April 30th will be our last day. We have truly enjoyed being a part of this great Historic Downtown Gresham community and want to thank all of you for your patronage and support over the years from the days of Main Street Ale House to the present day 4th Street Brewing Company.

A new restaurant called “Senoritas” will be taking over the spot as of May 1st. For all those who have any 4th Street gift cards, Groupon or Restaurant.com vouchers please make sure you redeem them as soon as possible. Also, we will be selling all merchandise and growler fills at half price from now until the end of the month so please come take advantage of the discounted prices!

Please come out and join us this Friday, April 25th from 4-9pm as we have a customer appreciation celebration with giveaways and happy hour prices all night long. We’d love to see everyone for one final weekend bash before we close our doors next week.

Thank you again for all your support over the years!

4th Street Brewing

Will the closing of 4th Street Brewing be an abnormality to what has been a successful business model of brewing operations here in Oregon? Which brewery or brewpub will be next? Let’s hope that this is a one off occurrence.

So for those of you that want to take in Gresham’s only brewpub for the very last time make your way to downtown Gresham by next Wednesday, April 30th. One can take advantage of some great savings on merchandise and growler fills.
