After announcing in mid-December that it will be opening its second location, Assembly Brewing will open its new Assembly Pizza Annex at 2934 NE Alberta Street on Friday, February 9, 2024. This opening on Friday is perfect as it just so happens to be National Pizza Day! Sounds like on fine way to kick off the weekend.
Assembly Brewing first opened in Portland’s Foster-Powell in 2019. Best known for its Detroit inspired pizza and its hand crafted beer brewed by its founder, George Johnson. Now with a second location all set to officially open in a few days, Assembly Brewing will now have a new location to sell its beers that are brewed at its original location at 6112 SE Foster Road.
With the new Assembly Pizza Annex, it’ll be open for all ages. This is a change as only those of legal drinking age could enter its original location. Being family friendly will be a nice change for those beer drinkers that may choose to bring their little ones out for some great Detroit-style pizza!
The menu at Assembly Pizza Annex will serve five pizza by-the-slice options (including one vegan), whole pies, breadsticks and salads. Assembly Pizza Annex also plans to offer a slice and a beer or fountain drink special. Its house brewed beers will flow from eight taps. Local cider, wines, and a selection of handmade cocktails and spirits will also be available.
Patrons will soon be able to dine inside or as weather permits, enjoy the sidewalk tables or the cozy back patio. Food delivery will also be available.
Hours for Assembly Pizza Annex will be seven days a week from 11:00am – 10:00pm. To learn more, visit assemblybrewingco.com.
