Day One Distribution Showcase at Belmont Station
This year Belmont Station is hosting monthly residencies that focus on the broad brewery portfolios from various beer distributors. For the month of May its monthly showcase turns its spotlight on Day One Distribution.
The Day One Distribution Showcase began last week for a Kickoff Party and continues tonight with a Washington Brewery Showcase and then on Friday with a SoCal Showcase for Robby Roda’s birthday, the founder of Day One Distribution. There’s even an added event next week featuring a few beers from Live Oak that’s based out of Austin, Texas.
As with the other distributor showcase months, Belmont Station and the distributor works with a local charity. This month Belmont Station and Day One are supporting Oregon State Elks Association Children’s Eye Clinic at OHSU! With longtime support from the Elks Association, OHSU Casey Eye Institute has been able to offer Pediatric eye specialists, advanced technology, experts with diagnosing and treating at a world class facility!
Washington Mini Showcase – Featuring Stoup Brewing
Thursday May 9 | 4pm – 7pm
Tonight’s event will bring together many of the Washington breweries that Day One takes care of with a focus on Stoup Brewing. Jason Bass from Stoup will be in house as a talking head to represent the great Washington beer scene and Stoup Brewing.

Robby West Coast Day (Happy Birthday Roda!)

On this day Belmont Station will celebrate Robby Roda, the founder and owner of Day One Distribution. It also happens to be his birthday!
When opening Day One, Robby initially focused on distributing California based breweries and bringing its beers to the state of Oregon. Since then, he has branched out to distribute beers from many other states, including breweries in Oregon. But for Robby’s birthday, he has chose to pay homage to the breweries from California that helped launch his business.
The team from Day One will be here including Robby Roda himself. Breweries that will be on draft includes Pizza Port, Fieldwork, Ghost Town, Radiant, Monkish, Riip, ISM, Everywhere and more!
Surprise Guest Appearance – Live Oak!
Tuesday May 14 | 4pm – 7pm
Hailing from Austin, Texas, Live Oak Brewing sent a few kegs to Day One Distribution and The Station is happy to be receiving a few of these kegs to serve up.
Live Oak opened in 1997 and has been serving up highly respected lager and ales ever since. They source only the best authentic ingredients while using a time-consuming mash and secondary lagering process. The result has achieved both regional and national acclaim, but more importantly, the satisfaction of loyal beer drinkers who appreciate their beer-making efforts.
Live Oak draft list includes Czech Pilsner, Vienna Lager, and Cold IPA.
Later this month, additional Day One Distribution events include Brujos & Friends on May 17, Battle of the Blends on May 20, Locals Only! On May 22, Bull Run & Seven Seeds on May 24, Denver Invasion on May 28, El Segundo on May 29, and closing out with an Afterparty on May 30!
