Lompoc Sidebar Hosts Fruity Friday
Kick off the last weekend of 2017 at Lompoc Sidebar today when its hosts Fruity Friday from 4:00-11:00pm. Lompoc Brewing will be pouring five different fruit beers on tap either by the glass or in a $17.00 taster tray.
These five beers run the gamut when it comes to fruit beers. There are beers with peaches, raspberries, and cherries and many aged on in bourbon or wine barrels.
Fruity Beer Friday Lineup:
2012 Peach Wheat – Brewed in 2012 and fermented in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels with 200 pounds of Hood River doughnut peaches
2016 Framboos – A raspberry Belgian style farmhouse ale fermented on raspberries and aged for three months in Maryhill Winery Zinfandel barrels and inoculated with brettanomyces
2015 Kriektucky – A golden ale aged for 10 months in Heaven Hill Distillery Bourbon barrels on 45 pounds of sour cherries
Lump of Coal – An imperial porter fermented with and aged on sour cherries for six weeks in a stainless steel tank
2012 Black Mamba Sour Stout – Aged for four years in Heaven Hill Distillery bourbon barrels with 45 pounds of sour cherries
