Bale Breaker Brewing Returns with Frenzgiving IPA, part of its Frenz Collaboration Series
|Just four weeks out from Thanksgiving, Bale Breaker Brewing announces the return of its popular Frenz Collaboration Series. On this go-round, the Yakima, Washington based brewer reached out to its brewery friends in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood to brew its third iteration of Frenzgiving IPA. This collaboration included eight breweries – Stoup, Reuben’s, Urban Family, Lucky Envelope, Obec, Wheelie Pop, Distant West, and Bickersons – all located near the Bale Breaker taproom in the neighborhood.
“After two years of featuring our neighboring Yakima breweries with our Frenzgiving releases, we decided it was time to swap to the West-side and give our Ballard brewery and taproom some love,” says co-owner Kevin Quinn. “We reached out to our pals in the Ballard Brewed Coalition to see who was in and ended up with a rad collab with 8 amazing local breweries.”
When gathering these eight breweries to agree to brew a crushable West Coast IPA was fairly simple. Then to get the breweries a bit more excited, Frenzgiving IPA features a few of Bale Breaker’s current favorite hops – old faithfuls Mosaic® and Simcoe®, plus their latest obsession – Krush™. With aromas of grapefruit, mango, and blueberry, Frenzgiving IPA perfectly accents a turkey dinner.
Frenzgiving IPA will be released on Friday, November 1st, at both Bale Breaker taprooms in Yakima and Ballard. Its Ballard Bale Breaker x Yonder Cider Taproom will host a special release party with brewers from the collaboration hanging out all night. It will receive full distribution throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho – find it using Bale Breaker’s online beer finder. Washington customers can also order their beer via their online store after launch.
Bale Breaker beer can be found in retailers and bottleshops throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. For more information, visit balebreaker.com or follow on Facebook and Instagram.
