Portland, OR — Knot Springs and Ferment Brewing today announced the launch of Knot Springs Nilgiri Black Tea Kombucha, a co-branded 12oz 6 pack canned beverage. Cans are available now at Ferment Brewing, Knot Springs, and beginning this summer in specialty stores throughout Oregon. Additional partnership announcements between the two brands are expected later this year.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Ferment Brewing to bring a heartfelt collaboration that provides a healthy beverage to our members, guests, and the broader community,” said Alli Lurie, Director of Engagement at Knot Springs. “The kombucha truly supplements our experiences by providing probiotics and antioxidants that support the immune system and help boost metabolism. It’s the perfect beverage to enjoy on our patio after visiting a Springs experience.”

Knot Springs, known throughout the Northwest as the premier wellness social club, provides sweeping views of the Portland skyline while visitors enjoy three soaking pools. The company offers meditation and movement courses, a gym with a variety of strength classes, multiple modalities of massage treatments, and community events.

Ferment Brewing overlooks the Columbia River in Hood River and has long been committed to health and wellness with draft kombucha being a centerpiece of the company’s repertoire since opening. The restaurant sources local ingredients from farms and ranches to incorporate pickled and fermented items into every dish — down to kombucha ketchup and hot sauce. The brewery hosts weekly run club events and is situated in a region that draws people seeking a greater connection to nature.

“This kombucha brings together two companies that share a passion for wellness,” said Jenn Peterson, Director of Operations at Ferment Brewing.  “It’s a project that both companies have anticipated since before we even opened, so we’re excited to bring it to life now. And this is just the start of something bigger, so stay tuned for more exciting news!”

The Knot Springs Kombucha is refreshingly effervescent and lightly tart. The recipe was designed to bring the true flavor profile of the fermented Nilgiri tea to the forefront with a cantaloupe, honey, apple cider and ginger character followed by a dry, thirst quenching finish.
