Following a ‘funky monkey’ is not an easy feat, but this twist on a classic Moscow Mule more than rises to the occasion! Brewed with fresh ginger and Equinox hops to accentuate notes of lime and lemon, Copper Donkey will continue No-Li’s play off of well-known citrus cocktails and replace Winter Warmer as their winter seasonal.
Damon Scott, No-Li’s Brewery Operations Manager, says, “Winter Warmer has always been well received, but we really want to push the boundaries with our seasonal brews. Brass Monkey definitely got people excited, and we’re stoked to continue to experiment with unique flavors in our newest beers.”
Copper Donkey will offer balanced flavors of ginger and lime at 8% ABV and 20 IBUs. With a slight sweetness from the malts and flaked rye to emphasize the spiciness of the ginger, this copper-cupped spin-off will to be a lighter, more refreshing winter brew.
