Pono Brewing Partners with John’s Marketplace on Pono For Pyros IPA
A new collaboration from Pono Brewing will hit the marketplace on Friday, May 6th. The Portland brewer has teamed up with the Petros brothers at John’s Marketplace for the release of Pono For Pyros IPA.
With artwork eerily similar to the famous band Porno for Pyros led by Perry Ferrell, Pono For Pyros IPA is a flat-out pepper beer, one style of beer that is becoming a bit more difficult to find. Supposedly, customers come into both John’s Marketplace locations seeking pepper beers and come Friday, there will be available!
Pono For Pyros IPA boasts Sabro, Mandarina Bavaria, and Ekuanot hops for a bit of bitterness and flavor. Then to spice things up, Filipino Siling Labuyo peppers that are balanced out with some fresh calamansi fruit citrus were added.
Look for Pono For Pyros IPA in cans and on draft beginning on Friday, May 6th at both John’s Marketplace locations with the release party taking place from 4:00-7:00pm.
