You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout we’re telling you why…Bad Santa Limited Edition t-shirts are available this week at the Pelican.  Just in time for the holidays, this Bad Santa t-shirt won’t last long.  It comes in sizes S-XXL and is only $25. Mother of All Storms and Vintage Beer Tasting on December 22nd

Join Pelican Brewmaster, Darron Welch, on December 22nd from 6-8 p.m. to taste some of the most rare and unique holiday ales from the Pelican cellar, including vintage MacPelican’s Wee Heavy Scotch Ale, Stormwatcher’s Winterfest Barleywine?Style Ale and Mother of All Storms. See how these wonderful beers have aged in the bottle over the years. Heavy appetizers will be served. Dom Good New Year’s Eve Package

Ring in the New Year in style with the “Dom Good New Year’s Eve” package in Pacific City.  The package includes two or three nights at either the Inn at Cape Kiwanda or the Cottages at Cape Kiwanda, two tickets to the Pelican’s Masquerade New Year’s Eve Party, a chilled bottle of Dom Perignon (or a Belgian-style Pelican beer if you prefer) in your room upon arrival and a $25 dining credit to the Pelican.  For package pricing and reservations, please contact the Inn at Cape Kiwanda at 888-965-7001.  If you’re interested in just the New Year’s Masquerade Ball, tickets are $25 per couple or $15 per individual.  For reservations, call the Pelican at 503-965-7007.

Spots Still Available for Cooking with Beer Classes at the Pelican

During the month of December, the Pelican will hold Cooking and Tasting Classes at the brewery.  Each of these classes will include demonstrations and cooking instruction.  Afterward, the food you helped prepare will be set up in the banquet room for the class to enjoy.  All classes start at 6 p.m. and each class is $30 per person.  To make reservations, please call the Pelican at 503-965-7007:

December 9—Cooking with Beer: Pelican executive chef, Ged Aydelott, will introduce the class to the world of beer cuisine.

December 16—Holiday Cooking Class: Impress the family this year and make your holiday dinner more special by making some new beer-incorporated dishes to entertain the family.  Pelican executive chef, Ged Aydelott, will take the class through how to prepare these delicious creations.

Join Santa Claus for Breakfast

This holiday season gather your family and friends for an unforgettable day on the Oregon Coast.  Come to the Pelican for one of its Breakfast with Santa events taking place on December 12 & 18 from 8-11 a.m.  Guests can enjoy breakfast with Santa Claus and have the opportunity to take a photo with ol’ Saint Nick himself anytime during their meal.  Reservations are recommended, but not required.  To make a reservation or for more information about Breakfast with Santa, please call 503-965-7007.

Pelican’s Winter Brewers Dinner Tickets and Weekend Packages Now on Sale

The Pelican’s Winter Brewers Dinner is taking place on Saturday, January 22 at 6:30 p.m.  The theme is German and the dinner will feature five courses paired with six Pelican beers.  Tickets are $75 each or weekend packages are available for purchase through the Inn at Cape Kiwanda and the Cottages at Cape Kiwanda.

Pelican BreweryThe weekend package is available or one or two people and includes accommodations for Friday and Saturday night, tickets to Friday’s “Meet the Brewers” reception as well as Saturday’s Brewers Dinner, breakfast at the Pelican on Sunday morning and a 750ml bottle of Pelican Belgian-style ale upon arrival. Let the Pelican Handle Christmas Dinner

The Pelican will host its annual Christmas Buffet on December 25.  Avoid any hassle on this special day and let the Pelican staff take care of you and your family. The buffet will offer a variety of holiday dishes including Chili Spiced Pork Loin Roast, Smoked Salmon Cannelloni, Dungeness Crab Bisque, Fresh Fruit Tarts and many more.  The buffet will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the cost is $25 per adult and $15 per child 12 and under.  This cost does not include beverage or gratuity.
