Hopworks Urban Brewery and GloryBee Honey Collaborate on Bee Here Now Belgian Golden Strong Ale

The latest collaboration from Hopworks Urban Brewery is with GloryBee Honey on its new Bee Here Now Belgian Golden Strong Ale. Brewed in celebration of Pollinator Week (yes this is a real thing), Bee Here Now will be on draft and in very limited bottles beginning on Wednesday, June 21 at all three HUB locations in the Portland metro area.

Bee Here Now is described as a Belgian-Style beer made entirely with organic ingredients, including malted wheat, rye, and GloryBee clover honey. Organic red clover blossoms were added in the hop back instead of hops, giving the beer a complex floral aroma and flavor. At 9.5% ABV, it’s warming on the back end as the honey rounds off the palate.

On Wednesday join HUB and GloryBee to celebrate the launch of this new collaboration when the official toast takes place at 6:00pm at HUB’s brewery located at 2944 SE Powell Blvd. All day long HUB will donate $1.00 from every glass of Bee Here Now to SAVE the BEE, an organization that works to expand research to improve honeybee health and nutrition in addition to combating colony collapse disorder. HUB will have a honey based food special and GloryBee will give away a gift basket.
