32nd Annual The Bite of Oregon Returns to Tom McCall Waterfront Park

Bite of Oregon

Portland, ORThe Bite of Oregon will celebrate its 32nd anniversary August 7‐9, 2015 at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park. During the three‐day weekend event, Oregon’s top chefs, best wineries, breweries, cideries and distilleries, along with celebrity chef demonstrations and challenges, live entertainment and children’s activities, will join forces to make the Bite of Oregon one of the state’s premier outdoor culinary events. All proceeds benefit Special Olympic Oregon.

Eat
The acclaimed Oregon Bounty Chef’s table returns. In true farm‐to‐festival spirit, chef’s from around the state partner with Oregon’s various agriculture commissions to prepare locally‐sourced, gourmet bites for only $4. This year, the Chef’s table will expand and feature many Oregon Agricultural Commissions, including blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, potato, seafood and beef. Each day different entrée and dessert bites will be featured.

The Bite is excited to welcome more than a dozen of Oregon’s finest restaurants, food carts, artisans, and confectionaries who will serve an assortment of dishes and flavors, savory and sweet, to satisfy all palates. The complete lineup of vendors will be released in the coming weeks.

No culinary event is complete without a little appetizing competition. Leading chefs and mixologists from around the state will compete for the traditional, fiercely‐coveted titles of Oregon’s Iron Chef and Iron Mixologist.
