For our Beer Lover’s 2022 Holiday Gift Guide we take a look at a baker’s dozen of gifts that includes YETI coolers, beer koozies, beer books, whiskey clubs, foods to pair with beers, barley milk, coffee sets and so much more!

Here’s our list that should satisfy a few meticulous gift recipients on your holiday list this season.

Yeti Wheeled Roadie Cooler
This year Yeti released a new version of its wheeled hard-sided coolers, now known as the Roadie Wheeled Cooler. It comes in two sizes, the Wheeled Roadie 48 and Wheeled Roadie 60 coolers.

A fresh take on a tried-and-true YETI favorites, the Wheeled Roadies feature puncture-resistant NeverFlat wheels and new Periscope handle for easy maneuvering and storing. The rugged wheels were no problem for us pulling the cooler up our rocky campsites this past fall. There was no need to be gentle with the cooler as YETI has built this one like a tank!

When it comes to filling the Wheeled Roadie, the capacity using a 2:1 ice-to-can ratio is 41 cans for the Wheeled Roadie 48 and 51 cans for the Wheeled Roadie 60. Each of the coolers is deep, 13” deep to easily hold 22oz, 750mL or Liter bottles upright. Even a glass growler bottle will fit nicely inside either of the Wheeled Roadies.

Cocktail Cadre – Cocktail Merchandise
During the pandemic, home bartending elevated to an entire new level. One fun company that offers fledgling bartenders some cool accessories is Cocktail Cadre. This small business from Jeff Ferguson offers a line of clothing, posters, and accessories that all feature various cocktails.

In 1974, an engineer working for the US Forest Service designed what became known as the Cocktail Constructure Chart. The chart used engineering-style drawings to illustrate making popular cocktails of the time, including the Old Fashioned, The Manhattan, The Martini, and many more.

Because the engineer was working for the US government, the chart became part of the National Archives, where Cocktail Cadre rediscovered it years later. They hired award-winning illustrator Bill Green to redesign the original artwork line by line and then rework some of the cocktails into t-shirts and other items such as totes and posters.
