Seattle Kraken Partner with Hop Valley Brewing on Hockey Haze Hazy Pale Ale
One brewery that has embraced professional sports has been Hop Valley Brewing. It has set up its customized cargo container built bars at stadiums across the west coast, including T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washingtton.
Formerly known as Safeco Field, T-Mobile Park is home to the Seattle Mariners. However, today it will host the 2024 NHL Winter Classic when the Seattle Kraken take on the Las Vegas Golden Knights. At Noon on New Year’s Day, the puck will drop for the 29th NHL franchise to play in this outdoor hockey game that’ll be broadcast on TNT and B/R Sports on MAX today.
To make this game a bit more appealing to beer fans, the Seattle Kraken has once again partnered with Hop Valley Brewing from Eugene, Oregon on another beer. For the hockey team’s inaugural season in 2021, it brewed Kraken Stash IPA, a beer that continues to be part of the brewery’s lineup of beers as well as the Kraken’s official craft beer.
Now for the 2024 NHL Winter Classic, Hop Valley Brewing has released Hockey Haze Hazy Pale Ale. Packaged in great looking 16oz cans that feature the throwback jerseys of the Kraken, this beer will be one that any Kraken fan will want to crack open when the puck drops today.
Hockey Haze Hazy Pale Ale is a light bodied Hazy Pale Ale with notes of citrus and herbal tea. It’s a hazy beer that is great for a fan of the style or even ones, like us, that do not usually clamor towards one. At a pleasant 5.5% ABV and 20 IBU, Hockey Haze Hazy Pale Ale is a beer that we will be enjoying during today’s matchup!
Hockey Haze Hazy Pale Ale is available for a limited time inside the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle and at T-Mobile Park for the NHL Winter Classic. The beer is also available for a limited time on store shelves throughout the Pacific Northwest.
