Gigantic Brewing Grand Opening
Likely Oregon’s most anticipated new brewery opening of 2012 is Gigantic Brewing. Headed by two regional craft beer all-stars, Van Havig, who spent 16 years brewing at Portland’s Rock Bottom, and Ben Love, who held down posts at Pelican Brewing in Pacific City and Hopworks Urban Brewery in Portland. Together, the two look to produce a year round IPA and a wide variety of rotating seasonals, specialties, and one-offs. On Wednesday May 9, 2012, Gigantic celebrates the fruits of their labors by kicking off what promises to be one hell of a non-stop party. Here’s the good word from the brewery:
Join us for the opening of the Gigantic Brewing Taproom and Champagne Lounge. Doors at 3pm, open til 9ish. Gigantic IPA & The City Never Sleeps on tap along with our collaboration brews and guest taps. Come celebrate!

Gigantic Brewing Taproom and Champagne Lounge is beer and champagne only, and thus you must be 21+ years of age.
