For the past 26 years, SakéOne has been America’s foremost premium sake brewer and importer of fine Japanese sake. Now the Forest Grove, Oregon brewer is set to celebrate its 1,000th batch of craft sake brewed in Oregon.

The brewery will hold a celebration at its tasting room in Forest Grove on Saturday, July 22nd from 11 am to 7 pm. During this celebration, attendees can get a behind the scenes tour of the brewery, meet the brewers, and have an opportunity to purchase the 1,000th batch limited-edition Momokawa Ruby Junmai Ginjo Genshu.

“Experience is everything in sake brewing,” says SakéOne President Steve Vuylsteke. “After twenty-six years of brewing sake in the Pacific Northwest, we are excited to release our 1,000th batch celebrating our brewers and brewing excellence in U.S. sake making.”

The celebration will feature the Momokawa Ruby Junmai Ginjo Genshu. This sake was carefully crafted to show off the true talent the brew team possesses. A full-bodied sake, the Ruby Genshu presents bubblegum and cotton candy flavors initially, with slight umami. Strawberry and raspberry flavors are also present to bring a brightness to the sake. There are only 220 bottles of this special 1,00oth batch available for sale at the celebration.

In addition to sake tastings, brewery tours and meeting the brewers, the event will have food available from Real Mex Fresh, a DJ spinning during the party, yard games and cotton candy for the kids. This is a family friendly event and minors are welcome.
