Goose Island Migration Week Flocks To Portland
Goose Island Beer Co. will be invading Portland for the Chicago based brewery’s annual Migration Week beginning on Monday, August 10th. This year’s Flock will be taking place over four days with various events all around Portland concluding on Thursday, August 13th.
Migration Week will kick off at Tin Bucket on Monday with the week’s official Kick-Off Party from 7:00 to 10:00pm. To make it even more authentic, Tin Bucket has lined up a Chicago style hot dog cart to be parked outside. Do Chicago right by only using mustard on that encased meat!
The week continues with a featured event at The Upper Lip on Tuesday with “Brewing with Barrels, Goose Island and Friends” Q&A that will feature an intimate Q&A with, Eric Ponce from Goose Island, Matt Van Wyk from Oakshire Brewing. Look for some special and rare barrel aged releases from both Goose Island and Oakshire Brewing.

Monday, August 10
Migration Week Kick-Off Party

The Goose Island team arrives in Portland and kicks off Migration Week with some delicious beers from our secret stash at the Goose Island Brewery in Chicago. Tin Bucket will also have a Chicago style hot dog food cart out front.

Goose IPA, Matilda, Sofie, 2014 Bourbon County, 2013 Bourbon County, 2014 Proprietor’s Bourbon County, Summer Ale.
There will also be current and vintage bottles available for sale: 2014 Bourbon County Stout, 2014 Bourbon County Barleywine, 2014 Bourbon County Vanilla Rye, 2010 Bourbon County Coffee, 2010 Lolita, and 2010 Juliet.
