Craft brewing is a unique art, and the culture surrounding craft beer is also filled with artistic expression. From creative writing in blogs and print publications, to documentary film and visual arts. Four beer-inspired visual artists will be showcased this Thursday at Gigantic Gallery in NW Portland at “Of Pints and Men,” a month long show dedicated entirely to the art of beer through photography, paintings, and illustrations. The gallery will showcase local artists: photographer Matt Wiater from portlandbeer.org, painter Ian Seniff, illustrator and designer Jonathon Hill-Jacquard, and photographer John Carleton.
Opening night is Thursday October 6th from 5:30pm – 10:00pm. Deschutes Brewery has donated a keg of Chainbreaker White IPA for the event.
