N.W.I.P.A. November Events

We are approaching mid-November and N.W.I.P.A. has a jammed pack ½ month of events planned for the IPA beer bar in Portland’s FoPo Neighborhood. Events this month include Burger Mondays with Fat Head’s Brewery and Breakside Brewery, Belching Beaver and Three Weavers Nights and Black Friday with Goose Island.

If you haven’t made it to a Burger Mondays at N.W.I.P.A, you’re definitely missing out. Jackson Wyatt does one phenomenal job at cooking up a tasty burger that pairs well with one of the rotating IPAs. What makes his burgers so special is that he prepares these meaty delights sous vide style and then sears them on a grill. Burger Mondays only takes place during the fall and winter and each week he only prepares a limited amount of burgers that can be purchased in advance online here. Don’t disappoint yourself and order in advance!

Here’s what to expect at N.W.I.P.A. during the remainder of November all described from Wyatt himself.

Daddy’s Burger with Fat Head’s
Monday, November 14th – 6:00pm
We got together with Mike Hunsaker and created a tasty burger to pair with some delicious brews. Our classic 8 oz. Black Label Laney Family Farms beef patty with a slab of pork belly adobo and pickled red onions on a Roman Candle bun. We will have Built for Speed, Fresh Hop Call Me Big Hoppa and Hop Juju IIPA on tap!

Belching Beaver Night
Tuesday, November 15th – 6:00pm
The Beav has been cranking out some tasty beer down in Southern California including their newest IPA, Phantom Bride, a collaboration with the Deftones. In addition to that beer, we will also have their double IPA, Dammed, their mexican inspired imperial stout, Horchata and their barrel aged stout, Ol’ Dirty Barrel.

Three Weavers Party
Friday, November 18th – 6:00pm
Just two years in the business, Inglewood’s Three Weavers Brewing has already made an impression in the Southern California market and thanks to Day One Distributing, they will be make their way up to the NW. We will be pouring Expatriate IPA, Little Elvis Session IPA, Day Job Pale Ale, Blood Junkie Imperial Red, Le Petite Fox tart saison with Pluots and Midnight Flight Imperial Stout. Brewmaster Alexandra Nowell will be in attendance to discuss the beers too!

Breakside Burgers
Monday, November 21st – 6:00pm
The first of two days with Breakside. On this evening we will be serving our delicious burgers topped with Mole Poblano Pork Belly. We will have all six taps flowing with delicious Breakside beers including IPA, Pathfinder, The Oligarch and more.

Salted Caramel Stout Release
Tuesday, November 22nd – 6:00pm
Day two of Breakside’s takeover brings their collaboration with Salt & Straw, Salted Caramel Stout. In addition to SCS, we will have a full tap takeover of Breakside beers!

Black Friday
Friday, November 25th – 2:00pm
An annual tradition now, we will be putting on Goose Island’s 2014 Bourbon County Stout, 2015 BCS Coffee, Lolita and Juliet. We will also have this year’s Bourbon County Stout in bottles available while supplies last plus much more for all your holiday needs.
