Minneapolis To Host Homebrew Con 2017

 

The 39th annual National Homebrewers Conference announces that it will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota from Thursday, June 15 through Saturday, June 17. Known as Homebrew Con 2017, this three-day conference is hosted by the American Homebrewers Association that is dedicated to enhancing homebrewing culture and camaraderie—features interactive sessions, workshops and demonstrations that cater to beer enthusiasts and amateur brewers of every level.

Homebrew Con is also the site of the final round of judging in the 2017 National Homebrew Competition. This is the world’s largest beer competition, which recognizes the most outstanding homebrewed beer, mead and cider produced by amateur brewers worldwide.

An estimated 3,000 attendees will have the opportunity hear from over 80 presenters, including keynote speaker Omar Ansari, founder of the Surly Brewing Company, which is based in Minneapolis and one of the fastest growing and most innovative craft breweries in the country. Presenters include other pioneering and veteran homebrewers, beer industry professionals, mead makers and more.
