ForeLand Beer will spend the month of February hosting its new ForeLand & Friends Portland Residency Series. Taking place at The Study, ForeLand’s pub in Southeast Portland, this new residency series will feature five Oregon breweries that currently do not operate a tasting room of its own.
Each week beginning on Wednesday and running through Monday, ForeLand Beer’s The Study will host a different brewery. The series kicks off on Wednesday, February 7 with Hetty Alice that will be followed by Oak Union, Kings & Daughters, and then closes out with nebuleus.
This new ForeLand & Friends Portland Residency Series is designed to celebrate the spirit of collaboration and artisanship within Oregon’s vibrant craft beer community. Since it is February, ForeLand mentioned that this series is held in conjunction with Oregon Craft Beer Month, a monthly celebration that has very little marketing behind it this year. The Oregon Brewers Guild website only lists Zwickelmania that takes place on February 17.
Each week, ForeLand & Friends Portland Residency Series will feature up to four unique beers from each guest brewery alongside a collaboration beer brewed at ForeLand’s production brewery in McMinnville. Highlighting the week, each Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00pm (Friday, March 1 for nebuleus) will serve as a celebration of each brewery’s residency and collaboration with ForeLand. Guests can meet the teams from each week’s featured brewery while learning more about the breweries and discovering the stories behind the beers. In addition, packaged beer and merchandise from each featured brewery will be available for purchase.
Brewery Residence Schedule:
February 7 – 12: Hetty Alice Brewing Co February 14 – 19: Oak Union Brewing February 21 – 26: Kings & Daughters Brewery February 28 – March 3: nebuleus beer
