Taking a cue from the continued sales growth of Michelob Ultra, earlier this year Omission Brewing launched its own low-carb beer, Ultimate Light Golden Ale in 12-ounce bottles. Now the Portland based brewer that is part of Craft Brew Alliance has launched 12oz – 12 pack cans of Ultimate Light Golden Ale in four test markets that includes Phoenix, Denver, Austin and Boston.

Ultimate Light Golden Ale is 5-carb, 99-calorie gluten-removed beer and has become the number one selling new beer in the gluten-removed beer segment. Now this beer is being test marketed in more convenient 12oz cans. If successful this new packaging will roll out to other markets in 2018.

Here are additional details on Ultimate Light Golden Ale from Omission’s press release…

“’Put it in cans!’ That’s what we’ve been hearing from Ultimate Light Golden Ale fans ever since we launched our new beer earlier this year,” said Joe Casey, Brewmaster at Omission Brewing Co. “We’ve been wanting to expand Omission beers into cans for a while now, and Ultimate Light – with its refreshing easy-drinking flavor, low calories and carb count, and low alcohol content – is the perfect beer to start with. Some of Ultimate Light’s biggest fans are in Phoenix, Denver, Austin and Boston, which is why we’re bringing the new packaging to those cities first.”

Like all Omission craft beers, Ultimate Light Golden Ale is brewed with traditional beer ingredients and crafted to remove gluten. Consumers who are seeking to avoid gluten or reduce it in their diets appreciate Omission’s portfolio of craft beers, which can be enjoyed without leaving them feeling full. While Ultimate Light is a perfect year-round beer, its refreshing taste and low calorie-carb combo make it an ideal complement to the rich foods during the holiday season.

Omission Brewing Co. plans to expand Ultimate Light Golden Ale in cans to more markets across the U.S. in 2018. In the meantime, more information about the entire portfolio of Omission beers, including where to find them, is online at http://www.omissionbeer.com/.
