Seattle’s Pike Brewing has now entered the Cold IPA category with the launch of Seattle Freeze Cold IPA. This new edition to the Pike family is available in 6-pack, 12oz cans and on draft around the Pacific Northwest.

Seattle Freeze Cold IPA is described as bright, hoppy, and quenchable! Featuring Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, and Simcoe hops, this beer boasts a huge west coast IPA hop aroma, while being approachable and balanced on the pallet. It finishes clean and bright. Best enjoyed on a cold Seattle day or while watching the Mariners in the playoffs! It sits at 7.0% ABV and 35 IBUs.

In addition to the launch of Seattle Freeze Cold IPA, the brew team at Pike Brewing has released a few fresh hop beers. Over the course of the past week, Pike Brewing has tapped Ekuanot Fresh Hop Hazy IPA and Talus Fresh Hop Hazy IPA.

Ekuanot Fresh Hop Hazy IPA is brewed with generous amount of Ekuanot fresh hops harvested at Carpenter Ranch in Granger, WA. Once harvested, these hops were then driven over to Seattle moments after being picked for maximum freshness. Ekuanot creates a wonderfully balanced amora of lemon, papaya and tropical fruit at 6.5% ABV and 40 IBUs.

Talus Fresh Hop Hazy IPA is brewed with Talus hops that were also grown at Carpenter Ranch in Granger, WA. These Talus hops were harvested, driven over to Seattle, and thrown in the brew, all in the same day. Talus hops bring grapefruit, citrus, and pine flavors and aromas at 6.5% ABV and 40 IBUs.

Both beers are available only on draft at Pike Brewing and other retailers throughout the Pacific Northwest.
