Firestone Walker Brewing Dinner at La Moule

Firestone Walker Brewing Company sign that sits on the southside of the tap room.

A few years back we attended a fabulous beer dinner that featured Firestone Walker Brewing and its co-founder, David Walker that was held at Old Salt Marketplace. This dinner was one full of fabulous beer, food and more importantly stories from the brewery’s co-founder.

Well early next week Walker, aka The Lion, will be in the Rose City and will once again be part of a beer dinner with his brewery that will be held at La Moule on Monday, July 24th from 6:30-9:30pm.

The menu that’s listed below looks fantastic. This four-course dinner will be prepared by by La Moule Executive Chef, Aaron Barnett and Chef de Cuisine, Elise Walker. Upon entry diners will be greeted with a glass of Firestone’s Pivo Pils and the dinner will feature four other Firestone Walker beers including The Lion’s favorite, DBA – Double Barrel Ale.

One of our favorite Firestone Walker Barrelworks beers is Bretta Rose and this beer was thoroughly enjoyed at the 2017 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest.

Here’s a peek at the evening’s menu.

David Walker explaining his love for Firestone Walker’s DBA that is partially fermented in the barrels behind him during our recent visit to Paso Robles in early June 2017.

And if you cannot make the dinner but still want to meet David Walker he will be at Belmont Station for the final day of Puckerfest from 4:00-6:00pm. The Station will be pouring SLOambic – Barrel-Fermented Wild Ale with Blackberries and Bretta Rose – Barrel-Fermented Wild Ale with Raspberries, both from Barrelworks.
