Shiner Beer Releases 2022 Shiner Holiday Cheer
Celebrate the holidays with a can of Holiday Cheer from Shiner Beer. Brewed by the Spoetzl Brewery, this annual winter seasonal debuted in 2010 and continues to delight fans over a decade later.
Part of the brewery’s Farm to Brew Series, Shiner Holiday Cheer is a Dunkelweizen that also incorporates Texan grown pecans and peaches. The roasted pecans come from fifth generation family owned Millican Pecan Company in San Saba and the peaches are from the seventh generation family run Jenschke Orchards in Fredericksburg.
Shiner Holiday Cheer pours a dark amber-brown color with a tan head. There’s plenty of peach and pecans in the aroma. This leads to robust, malty flavors with the aforementioned peaches and pecans in the flavor. Shiner Holiday Cheer sits at 5.4% ABV and 22 IBUs and is available in six-pack, 12oz cans and bottles.
